Revic HUD and Ballistic App
Gunwerks hired me to help design their ballistic app and connected devices. This required identifying all potential features and functionality for each product in the roadmap in order to define the framework to design and deliver an intuitive and consistent user interface and experience.
The PMR428 Smart Rifle Scope has a head-up-display (HUD) that was designed in parallel with the RevicOps app. This ensured the user is able to quickly switch between views, clearly understand the information presented, and make adjustments using either device.
I was responsible for all UX and UI on the app and scope.
Gunwerks is the leader in designing precision rifles and training for long range hunting, so they understand ballistics and user needs. Starting with researching and understanding the pain points in all other applications, understanding the educational needs from their years of running their long range university, and leveraging the latest technologies in mobile phones, we were able to design and deliver a ballistic app that is easy to understand and use for all skill levels.
